Camping Merdeka
In commemoration of Indonesia's 78th Independence Day, Maros Highland, one of the natural tourist attractions under the Nimo Land Group, presents an event with the theme and concept of "CAMPING MERDEKA" on August 16-17, 2023. This event is organized to foster a sense of nationalism among the younger generation, allowing them to carry on the spirit and struggle of the past heroes who fought for Indonesia's independence.
This event is open to the general public, Maros Highland employees, and Maros Highland tenant partners who participate in a series of activities, including camping together, a stage for drama actions (parody performances), live music with a violin performance by Maros Youth, karaoke, dinner with city lights, blood donation, and a flag-raising ceremony with a 100-meter-long Indonesian flag at one of the iconic photo spots, the Glass Bridge of Maros Highland.
